Joe lives and paints in his home town of Portsmouth, with the sea inspiring much of his earlier work. Drawn to the power of the creative arts to be deeply moving and to tell stories that resonate with all aspects of the human experience, his focus is on painting people. There is no more direct way of conveying the experiences we share.
